DRINK
Salted Karamel Vodka, £21, by Stoli, from Waitrose (in-store only)
Alison : This smells good but tastes sickly. It could work mixed with espresso and poured over ice cream. For me it's Grey Goose vodka every time. 2/5
Patricia: It looks like one thing but tastes totally different. You take another sip to work it out, and before you know it the world looks a bit hazy.
FILM
Blue Jasmine, directed by Woody Allen, in cinemas from 27 September
Alison : The characters were well cast and acted brilliantly. That's down to Woody Allen's talent - he's back on track. Cate Blanchett should get an Oscar. 5/5
Patricia: Cate Blanchett's Chanel look was perfect but I wanted to slap her within the first 10 minutes. She's got to be lovable, or at least amusing, and she was neither. 2/5
JEWELLERY
'Mise en Dior' necklace with cream resin pearls and gold-finish caps, £1,100, by Dior ( dior.com )
Alison : Far too bling and chunky for me, and too tight around the neck. I stay away from pearls because they have that twin-set stigma. 2/5
Patricia: Lovely. The pearls work well in that size but you need a matching personality to pull them off. They'd work with jeans or a cocktail dress. 4/5
BAG
Sofia Coppola BB, £2,100, by Louis Vuitton ( louisvuitton.com )
Alison : The colour is a no-no. I'd only wear it once every six months with a black outfit. I never choose bags with short handles, but the luxurious leather might sway me to give it a go. 3/5
Patricia: I like a bag that is practical and doesn't take 30 minutes to get in to - this one is perfect for every day. I'm not afraid of bright accessories; teal shows off the quality of the leather. 4/5
INTERIOR
Re-Imagined Tall Chair, collaboration by Nina Tolstrup and Marc by Marc Jacobs (see 19greekstreet.com for more information)
Alison : This is not relaxing to look at or sit on. It's not my taste at all. Noel Edmonds' Multi-Coloured Swap Shop comes to mind. 1/5
Patricia: A good shape, nice and clean, and I like the abstract pattern. More a work of art than furniture. But it's just too pink. 2/5
